I do regulary appraisals for cutting risks (manufacturing insuarnce policie's). The manufacturers give me some.mmd files, that I can open with Oxygen viewer at Octonus site. From time to time I receive a.stn file, beeing a Sarin file, but am unable to open and view it. Somebody knows how to do that?
Is it really a.stn file not.srn? Sounds dumb but r is next to t on the keyboard so I wondered if either you or your supplier types like I do. The web viewer for.srn files can be downloaded. Some of the Octonus software will work with these as well.
I've never seen it used on rough before, though I sure wish every fancy shape listed on Rapnet and Polygon came with one of these. Sarin has a free Internet Exploerer plugin called the web viewer that will allow you to read the files sort of but you're limited in what you can extract from them.
You can download it from. I can assist in translating srn into stl format, which is a bit more readilly readable if you need the real data as well put it into the as the Octonus.gem format if you would like.
I've been a Sarin customer for a long time and I've never heard of stn as one of their formats. Neil Professional Appraisals in Denver There's never a crowd when you go that extra mile.
